I am interested in various aspects of general relativity and quantum field theory and their application to observations and fundamental descriptions of our universe.  My work has studied how symmetries derived from gauge theory and gravity in four-dimensional asymptotically flat spacetimes impose constraints on particle interactions in gravitational scattering and on observational predictions for black holes.
