My main research interests cover a wide range of problems related to galaxy formation and evolution, formation and evolution of binary systems from stellar to supermassive black hole (SMBH) binaries and planetary systems. I am most interested in the formation and dynamical evolution of SMBH binaries formed at the center of galaxies by galaxy mergers in connection to the new era of gravitational-wave (GW) astronomy opened in 2015 by the direct GW detections of merging stellar black holes by Advanced-LIGO and continued in the future by the space-based laser interferometer LISA and existing Pulsar Timing Array (PTAs) surveys that will widen this window observing the loudest GW events in the Universe produced by the coalescence of SMBHs
